The staff at Father Marquette Middle School recognize the need for, and encourage student participation in, extracurricular activities. Participating in these activities carries with it the responsibility for good behavior in and out of school. Students who participate in extracurricular programs should maintain their schoolwork, as well as put forth a concentrated effort toward the activity. Failure on the part of any student to meet this responsibility is cause for suspension of the privilege of participation. Extracurricular activities require hard work, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
